Book Information
Genre: Bible
First appearance: "Home Sweet Homediddly-Dum-Doodily"

St. Jatmes is a translation of the Bible, one of many which the Flanders family own.

[edit] History

When the Flanders family played "Bible Question Bombardment" with the Simpson children, the book was on the shelf along with the family's other Bibles. Todd wanted to use the St. James to play the game, but Ned chose The Vulgate of St. Jerome.

[edit] Behind the Laughter

  • The book's appearing as "St. Jatmes" may be an error on the part of the animators, as "St. James" is spoken in dialogue.
  • "St. James" may be an additional error, this time on the part of the writers, as the first widespread English translation of the Bible was the King James Version.
