Slimu is a performing octopus at a marine park in Springfield.

Slimu doesn't seem all that happy and healthy, due to having been forced into a performing lifestyle. The Simpsons saw him in action in a show at the marine park. Slimu has either escaped from the park or been allowed to roam freely around Springfield, as he was later seen in the city's storm drains.

Behind the Laughter

Slimu's name is an obvious pun on Shamu, a famous performing orca at SeaWorld.
